Snow Days!!

This might not look like a lot of snow... but it was enough to get us out of 2.5 days of work!!
I was forced to put a picture of myself on the blog... Just focus on the cute one in purple!

Marie got to enjoy the snow days too! She stayed home from 'school' for a couple days to hang out with us!

Trips to the desert!

Marie is getting bigger every day. She can stand for a minute if you prop her up. She reaches for toys now and is quite the talker! She tells all sorts of stories. I am convinced that she exaggerates a little bit...

We took a family trip out to the desert where Teddy got abused by a cactus. Our yard is much more enjoyable now. No more driving the truck through the middle of our yard!

For Halloween in IA, Marie got to be a little chilli pepper. She got Teddy and I some good candy.

Halloween is coming up!

Marie got her 2 month shots and I think the pain lasted longer for me than it did for her. She screamed like a little banshee, but was over it in 5 minutes. What a trooper!

Her head is getting stronger everyday. I think she is practicing her look of shock for Halloween.

I had to experiment with my new photo editing software...

Trip to Virginia

Marie received her blessing in Virginia! We loved the weather and didn't want to return to the heat. She got to see one set of her grandparents. :)


We figured that we would dress Marie in style while we were there. She is so loved that I don't know how she was able to escape Virginia's borders.

Eye Surgery

Teddy finally got PRK! It will be a new experience being able to wake up and see what time it is. I think Teddy was a little happier in the before picture... Now there are two babies to take care of at this house. :)

Marie is getting to be a chubby cheeked little girl. She can roll herself over and is following more things with her eyes!

Marie is growing like a little weed!

This is the sure sign of childhood starvation! She likes her food. She is now up to 8 lbs 4 ozs, gaining over a pound in two weeks.

Where is Marie? She likes to help but sometimes she gets lost in the action.

Marie came out knowing how to play the air guitar! She is rockin' out with us and loving her new home. She was born at 7 pounds, 5 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long. She sure is cute!

New Project

Our new project is to fix up this 1978 YZ400. We like to keep ourselves entertained. Teddy is working on imoprtant things like the engine, but my first contribution was a fresh paint job to the fenders. :) Next, the seat!

It won't be just the two of us much longer!

Teddy and I are getting everything ready to go for the addition coming to our family. We are really excited for little Marie to be born!
