Basement Update

 In addition to the bathroom, we have been fixing the bead board in the basement. They used to be an ugly green and the trim wasn't even close to straight. 

Happy Boy Troy

 Troy eats his banana in an unusual way. I'm sure it still tastes good though!

 Claire is quite the bookworm. The girls are also learning the piano!

 Troy is such a sweet boy!

 Pa put the grout in the tile! He also tiled the drain cover. 

 He hung up the shower door!

 I do the smaller projects like the putty and painting.

 Now we even have a toilet!

Happy 8th Birthday Claire!

 This is my amazing Claire! She turned 8 and sure is great. She is also very adventurous. She decided to jump from the deck to a trampoline that was very far away. I took pictures and then told her to never do it again. :)

 She has made several friendship bracelets. Happy birthday Claire!

Thad Building

 Thad loves to work in the workshop. His tongue hanging out is a good sign that he is working hard.

 Thad is teaching Troy the joys of a remote controlled car.

 These great boys are good buddies.

 Pa is rebuilding the wall to make the weird room shape into a hallway. It also adds 3 ft. to the width of our storage room!

 The toy room downstairs had two different types of wallpaper in the same room... that didn't even match each other. We painted the ugly one with an oil based paint. Then we painted it this brown color that compliments the wallpaper we left up.

 Troy wanted to play the piano like his brother and sisters.
