Motorcycle Roadtrip

Our neighbor, Eli came over with some doughnuts for the girls. They had a great time and it worked perfectly at distracting them from their sorrows at Pa leaving. Here is the riding crew:

They went up to Canada and around some of the great lakes. 

I think we might have to get a side car (that can hold four children?) so our whole family can go next time. We missed Pa!

Growing Chillin's

 The girls love to help out with Thad. Claire is even a good feeder! These girls are book lovers. We spend lots of time reading.

 Theodore loves his new big boy bed. He is pretty good with all of his new freedom. He does a great job at staying in bed. He has been our easiest kid to put to bed!

 Thad loves his jumper. He likes to play with his toys and see the world from a standing up point of view.

Escapee!

Theodore had to get moved to the big boy bed. He is a professional escapee.

Hot Air Balloon Festival

 We went to a hot air balloon festival, but it was a little too windy for us to ride in them so we settled for a funnel cake. We walked around to check out all the vendors and find the one that we thought would make the best funnel cake. It was delicious!

 Claire was quickly tired out from all the walking, so we got both of the strollers out of the van. They were also jumping with all different sizes of flags. I think they were trying to break the record of jumping with the largest flag and it was impressive!

Although we couldn't go up in the hot air balloons, we got to see a light show with them on the ground. It was really neat and all the kids loved it. Maybe next year we will be able to go up in them. We had a great time at another festival. There are so many festivals around here. It is awesome!

Thaddeus is growing!

 Thaddeus is growing so fast! I can't believe how quickly the time is going by. I feel like he was just born a couple weeks ago.

Thaddeus was just starting to play with toys in this picture. He loves his toys now. He is always laughing and loving life. He is a very calm baby. We are spoiled with great babies. Sure love you Thaddeus!

Chick-fil-A

 Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite restaurants. They also have a day every year where you can dress like a cow and get a free meal! So we had a fantastic time dressing everyone up and getting some free food!

 Pa made a fantastic bull!

Theodore likes mud too!

 Theodore takes every opportunity to get muddy that he can find. He doesn't even need rain to look like this. He is such a cute boy!

Marie is trying out two wheels!

 We got her prepped for the upcoming falls.

 Claire was very excited about this adventure as well. She was running up and down the sidewalk with Pa. She is quite the runner.

 There were quite a few crashes, but sometimes she would get it for a couple seconds. I don't think she is quite ready yet. We will try another day.

 I was impressed at how determined she was. Even though she kept falling, she didn't get discouraged.

Summer Fun

 I don't think anyone can argue that our girls don't like to get dirty. Rain makes the mud really fun.

 Thaddeus is now our little grinner. I love when they finally start to smile!

Our garden is doing great! We have gotten several pumpkins, carrots, squash, and greens. Unfortunately, the squirrels got to our corn first.
