Kaiten Sushi

 This is a favorite place of ours. Sushi rolls along on a belt and you can just take whatever you want off. Afterwards the waitress comes and counts up how many plates you have on your table. Teddy likes the sushi, but most of the kids and I go for the french fries and inaritsushi.

Thad's Foot Injury

Thad was riding on the back of Pa's bike, but he forgot not to stick his foot in the wheel... I was sure it was broken. He cried more from this injury than any other, including having a rod stuck through his calf. He didn't want Teddy or I to look at it at all. There was a huge baseball growing on his leg, so Teddy brought him in to the ER. They said that somehow it hadn't broken.

He was in pain for a day or two. Thad is one tough cookie. The only cure... playing a deer shooting game.
