Bundled Thad

We were getting everyone ready for our next sledding adventure. We got Thad bundled up and ready for the cold. He could hardly move, but we figured that was better than losing an arm in the extremely cold temperatures. We were getting the other kids ready and then we came back and found him passed out. I guess when you are warm and comfy and you can't move... there isn't anything better to do than sleep!

Happy 4th Birthday Claire!

I worked on Claire's cake the night before her birthday so it would be easier to get everything ready.

The next morning, I came down to this... Theodore had attacked the cake!

She got a couple "Frozen" books and loved them!

I got the cake fixed up and ready!

She got lots of princess related presents! We then had the Barnes and the Walkers over for the cake!

We sure had a great time. Happy birthday Claire!

Colored Ice Balloons

I found this idea from Pinterest. We filled up balloons with water and added food coloring. We stuck them outside to freeze and we ended up with some pretty colored ice!

Although these would be dangerous to use in a snowball fight, they turned out really vibrant! I loved them!

Painting

I am ready for it to warm up! We have been trying to find indoor activities, but playing outside is so much better. The kids love to paint! Thad just painted his face with snacks. 

Snowpa

I made Marie and Claire some capes so they could have a little easier time pretending to be Elsa and Anna from 'Frozen'. They LOVE the show and we pre-ordered it! Now they don't have to wear full sized blankets around their throats that trail across the whole room.

We wanted to make sure we made a good snowman this year. The girls helped by making their own snowballs! Since we miss Pa during the day while he is at work, the girls named our snowman, SnowPa.
