Rice Harvesting Trip-Part 2

We were able to do some good rice harvesting! I was due to have baby Troy in a week and people were very concerned that I was working in the field. It was pretty hot, but my babies are usually a week late anyways. Troy was no exception. The kids had a fantastic time. They caught all sorts of toads, grasshoppers, and snails.
We ate some delicious rice from the harvest that they mailed us later. It sure was fun!
I wish we could do it again next year!

Rice Harvesting Trip

We took a trip to Ibaraki-ken to spend the night with Takuya's father's house. It was on the way to our rice harvesting the next day.
He has a massage chair that the kids loved. It would pummel them on the back of the head because they weren't tall enough, but they thought that it was hilarious.

Christine's Heels

This girl likes her heels. :)

New Fort

These girls like to sleep next to each other, but they must beat each other up in the night because they are all over the place.
We harvested some of Teddy's pumpkins.
The girls made a nice fort.
 Christine is a happy jumper!

Japan Ocean Trip

We take a trip to the ocean about once a year to remind ourselves of how painful it is and why I dislike the beach. If it was just Teddy and I, it could be enjoyable... probably. I still dislike sand.
We arrived at the beach and within 5 minutes, Claire got stung by a jellyfish on her leg. She started putting sand on it to help.
Everyone except Christine had fun for a few minutes.
Christine was not excited about being put in the water. Maybe it was because she saw what happened to Claire. She loves the pool and the tub, but not the ocean.
Claire recovered and then looked for critters.
Marie had an enjoyable time for awhile.
Theodore was mad that our ball kept blowing away. He wanted to make sure that it didn't get lost.
Marie quickly grew tired of the ocean and Clarie's leg still hurt.
Teddy taught them how to skip rocks, but Thaddeus picked ones a little too big.
Everyone was crying in less than an hour and we were ready to go home.
