Road Trip!

We decided to do a big road trip out to Idaho! We were also able to see my side of the family on the way over. The kids were able to see a few cousins they haven't seen in long time.
I was happy that the kids could see their great grandma!
On the way over, we stopped and took a picture next to a giant windmill. The drive went surprisingly well. It was a very long trip, but the kids did great!
We were so excited to show up at Tyler and Dee's house! The kids got to play with more cousins that we normally see only once a year.
I was also able to meet Kate for the first time in person!

Christine's Bike Riding

We kept trying to get Christine to ride a bike on two wheels, but she never wanted to do it. Then when she didn't think we were looking, she was practicing and figured it out right away. She just didn't want us watching.

Storage Room & Water Balloon Fight

This room looks so much better. It is amazing! I am so happy to be rid of the gross carpet, the ceiling is all level, and the lights allow us to see!
The kids had a water balloon fight, but the balloons that I got must have been too strong because they wouldn't break until they hit the ground. They have fun though!

Swim Team

We have enjoyed being able to watch the kids swim! It is hard to get good pictures because you can't tell who is who when they are in the water, but they all did a great job!
Theodore made some contraption for outdoors.
Claire is quite the good bracelet maker.
Thomas is frequently sticking his tongue out. What a cute boy!

Perler Beads

These kids make some neat perler bead designs.

Thomas' First Food

Thomas had his first solid food! He wasn't a huge fan...
He is such a cute boy!

Smores

We ate some smores with the neighbors. They have a nice boy, William that always likes to play.
Troy got stuck in Thomas' jumper, but he was happy about it.

Jamestown and Williamsburg

Pa had a work trip at Williamsburg for a couple days, so we thought we'd go with him and share his hotel.
We went on a field trip to Jamestown! It was so much fun. It was so neat to see where the pilgrims landed. We saw neat bones and artifacts from the original site, then the next day we went to a different museum close by and saw the stuff in the pictures below.
Thomas fit perfectly in the suitcase that we used as a pack n' play.
They recreated the Mayflower and the kids were able to see how small it actually was and the conditions that they sailed under. They recreated homes and weapons and armor that the kids could try on.
Teddy also has some cousins that we visited in Williamsburg that were fun to see. We hadn't seen them in a long time!
