Happy Halloween!

 They were all pumped to get some more CANDY! Marie knows how it works now. Claire acted a little surprised by all the candy she was getting. Theodore was just excited about all the commotion.

 Our church did a trunk or treat and set up some games. Marie got to play musical chairs and Theodore decided to eat doughnuts upside down. Everyone was happy!

Fall Photo Shoot

 I wanted to get some pictures with all the chillin's playing in the leaves before we raked them all up. I was getting ready to start raking and realized that I hadn't taken any pictures yet! I quickly plopped everyone outside to take some quick pictures of them in the fall.

 I think Theodore is pretty satisfied with his fall/leaf experience.

 Claire was pretty excited about the big pile of leaves that she got to jump into.

 Marie was a little ham and always loves getting her picture taken. What a cute girlie!

 These girls loved playing outside all afternoon. It was a nice warm day, so we were able to get all the leaves raked up without having to put on any jackets.

Happy Birthday Theodore!!

 Theodore is now ONE! He was more than happy to let his sisters open his presents. He did enjoy playing with them after the girls rescued them from the paper and boxes. His sisters were ecstatic about being able to open more presents, even though they were aware that the presents were for Theodore.

 Theodore was a little confused about what to do with the candle. He just gazed at the flame until Pa put it out. He was not confused about what to do with the cupcake though.

Fire Station Tour

 The fire station was having a tour/demo day. They showed us how they use the jaws of life and showed us around the station. The girls were thrilled about it! Theodore didn't really care one way or the other. They provided hotdogs and chips and ice cream!

The girls loved everything, except seeing a demo car get riped apart. They took the doors off and all the glass. Marie was concerned that it was broken. She wondered how the people were going to get home now...

Flour Fun

 One of our 5 gal buckets of flour from food storage was no longer suitable for eating, so we dumped the bucket out in our garden. Who knew that flour could be such a great form of entertainment?

 They all enjoyed playing with their new toy. The girls pretended to bake and Theodore wanted to see if he could actually get any paler. I don't think his skin color changed much, but his clothes definitely did!

Visitors!

We were excited to hear that we were getting company from Iowa! My Dad and Kim drove out to see the chillin's! Everyone had a fun time. We always love spending time with family. They brought out a ton of clothes from James and Ashley so we can make sure that Theodore is always a stylin' man. Thanks for making the long trek!

Hi Theodore!

OK... so I am pretty far behind in the blog, but Theodore is sure happy about his waving! We have had a lot going on and will have lots of blog updates to come!

Happy Boy

Theodore never passes up a chance to be outside. It might be a rough winter when he will only be able to stay outside for short stretches. Nothing better than eating the girls' "cupcakes"-aka dirt and sawdust.
