Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's

The chillin's (minus Thad) wanted to check out the hay bales. They very quickly realized the awesomeness of jumping from bale to bale. They had so much fun!

 Theodore didn't want to be left out of the jumping game, but I was a little hesitant about his jumping skills. He did a fantastic job though! He had restraint when a gap was a little too big for him.

 Grandpa had to convince Theodore to hop down. We all had fun and no one was injured! Yay!

Honey!

 After being home for a couple weeks, we decided it was time for another trip! Uncle Spencer was coming back from his mission in Mexico for two years, so we wanted to greet him when he got there! Only I knew that Teddy was driving up from AL to surprise him too! Teddy showed up just in time to help with the bees.

 First, we scraped the wax off the top of the combs to open up the honey. Then we spun it in the barrel to whip the honey out. It was fun and Theodore loved snacking on it.

We were excited to see everyone again! Theodore wouldn't let Teddy out of his sight.

Big

 Big grinner. Big laugher. Just big.

 Big brother. Big hands.

Big climber. Baby bird nest.

Chain and Rain

 Pa is almost home! We made count down chains. We all love to see the chain get smaller and smaller!

We had a fantastic rain storm. We broke out the umbrellas and everyone had a great time.

Back to the 'norm'.

 We're trying to get back to a normal routine, but we are getting excited for Pa to be back. The kids have done a great job helping me out and are quite the troupers. 

 There have been several hoppity races. These were a great idea!

 We had some visitors! The girls always love to have company over and we had a great time! We also got to help grandma celebrate her birthday. Thad loved giving grandpa some cuddles.

 Theodore is our little monkey and has been pounding the bananas.

 Our boys got lots of clothes from their Aunt and Uncle! I was excited about this Harley Davidson outfit. :) There are so many cute ones!

Home sweet home!

 We made it back to Ohio again to enjoy some more of the summer weather. 

 Thad wants to eat his own hand all the time. 

 Marie is growing by the second.

 To pass the time without Pa, we went to a popcorn festival in Beavercreek. I love kettle corn, so I got the biggest bag that I could find. Marie, Claire, and Theodore pounded the cotton candy!

Last of Nashville

We also checked out the Dukes of Hazard museum and this fun park. 

We were able to see an old friend from school, Troy! He had the same training as Teddy.

We had to get a picture of Thad as well!

Theodore was so excited to be back with his Pa. He didn't want to let him out of his sight!

Off to Nashville!

Pa had a three day weekend the next weekend, so we met in the middle at Nashville! We had another fantastic weekend with Pa. We saw this cool Parthenon replica, went to a neat water park, and saw a concert at the Grand Ole Opry! 

We had a fantastic time and we can't wait for Pa to be home for good! Sure love you Pa!
