Camping on the beach!

Our little family of four!

Marie loved the sand. She actually enjoyed being buried up to her head in it! She kept climbing back into the hole after we took her out and trying to cover herself back up again!

Marie the mermaid! Teddy's cousin, Shay, is quite the artist!

Marie putting more sand on herself.... she would chase the waves out and then realize that they were headed back for her again. She would run up the beach away from the waves again and then run back out... she wore herself out running back and forth chasing the water.

Marie did not want to waste one second of beach time to take this picture... I got a new swimsuit top before we went down. I am really excited about it because I can run around and not feel exposed and I won't get sunburnt! It is much more practical and it matched my board shorts! Now all I need is a surf board...

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes!

Our softball season is going great! We win about 50% of our games and we have a great coach... Teddy! Marie brings a bucket and a shovel and has a great time playing in the dugout.
Claire LOVES sweet potatoes! She is a great eater. She loves every fruit she has tried, plus sweet potatoes and carrots.

We put away the swing and replaced it with the jumper! She loves to play in it and Marie likes it because it brings Claire up to her height.

Marie is so smart! She thoroughly enjoys doing the head, shoulders, knees, and toes song.

Marie sometimes get a little envious that Claire is always in the stroller... we wanted to go on a walk to tire Marie out, but she wanted to cram in also... This stroller appears to be a double stroller... so I wonder if our double stroller is actually a triple?

Look up!

On one of the other posts, I forgot to add this picture. Marie was painting and I was trying to get a picture of her. She was hunched over the paint, hard at work... I asked her to look up so I could get a picture and this is what she gave me. I guess she did what I asked! Marie has used the potty twice this week! Way to go Marie! Marie has also decided that all women make 'baby food'. She decides to point at other people's chests and say 'baby food'! A little embarrassing, but so far it has only happened to friends. She also likes to hold her baby doll up to her belly button and pretend that it is eating.Marie never wants to be left out of a party. We were going on a walk to tucker Marie out before bed. We put Claire in the stroller and started walking. Marie instantly wanted to ride in the stroller too... so we put her underneath the seat and she rode in the bottom compartment. She thought it was made just for her. Claire has been expanding her diet... she LOVES watermelon and bananas! She is moving all over the place now and is starting to get her own little personality.

Cheerios and more!

We have carrots, yellow squash, spaghetti squash, zucchini, pumpkin, and corn growing! The corn is about 1.5' high now. We had to put a net over the top to keep the birds out...

How many girls can fit into a bassinet? These girls are so great!

I rode in my first official dirt bike event. I actually paid $25 to get beat up... I was trying to clear the rocks out of the way for everyone else. I got going a little fast on a downhill and couldn't stop! It is a good thing I was wearing protective gear! The huge bruise on my arm is just about gone and my hand no longer needs icing.
