Getting warmer!

The kids and I are both very excited for the warmer weather. Everyone loves it when they can play outside! They love to be outside and it helps them crash at bedtime. Look at that boy grin because he is outside!
Claire was enjoying playing with ear muffs and didn't want to stop to take pictures.
Marie was pushing her bear around in the stroller, but was more than happy to take some pictures. Hooray for spring!

Bumps, bruises, and oatmeal!

Claire was running around in the living room, playing some game and having a great time. We were in the kitchen cleaning up after a meal when we heard a crash and Claire came in crying. She then developed this nice bruise on her chin. I don't know how they have survived this long. They are always getting hurt.
I was looking for a new snack for the girls during the day. I found a good website from pinterest that had some oatmeal recipes. I know the chocolate negates the healthy factor, but it was very delicious. Marie was very excited about it, but Claire just wanted to eat all the strawberries.

Last Snow of the Winter

We had to take advantage of our last snow of the winter. Everyone was excited for another round of sledding. It was very cold this time, so we bundled Theodore up until he could hardly see and took off.
The kids went down by themselves one time, but they quickly veered to the side. They didn't get as much speed because they went down the hill at a slant instead of straight down, but that was for the better because they went so crooked that they hit about the only post out there.
We didn't want to miss out on any fun, so we stayed until they couldn't stand the cold any longer.
Pa made a great snowman! The girls even made their own snowball all by themselves. It was in the backyard and I never did get a picture of it, but it was about as big as this snowman's head! We will miss the snow, but we are ready for spring!

Snow for breakfast?

What is better than cereal for breakfast? Snow! All three of them were more than excited to ditch the cereal for a full bowl of snow. They sure are easy to please sometimes!

After Church

We have a quiet time after we get home from church and finish lunch. It gives Pa and I some quiet time to either read books or attempt a nap. Usually the girls read books or play with their babies.
Claire has become a huge fan of books. She has always liked books, but now I will frequently find her hidden away reading something.
These girls are best buds!

Favorite Toys

I told the girls to go play with their favorite toys so I could take some pictures of them with their favorite things.
Claire quickly went to the blocks after putting on her princess dress.
Marie found some of her favorite babies so she could show off her good mama skills.
I didn't think Theodore understood what 'get your favorite toy' meant, but apparently he did! He thoroughly enjoys making messes with food, so he dumped out a box of Lucky Charms to play with.

Valentine's Day

The girls woke up to some candy, presents, and toys. Theodore LOVES Pez, just like his sisters.
The girls made cards for Pa and I had gotten him a box of chocolates. Teddy doesn't really care for chocolate very much, so the girls and I ate all the chocolate. Then we filled it up with some of his favorite treats: gummies, nerds, and nuts. I could tell he saw the box of chocolates and wasn't all that excited... but I think he was much more pleased once he opened it!
I have been disgruntled with my rolling pin because it keeps coming off the side knobs and digging into the dough every five rolls. Teddy got me a new white marble rolling pin which is so heavy that I hardly even have to push on the dough! I love it! Our weather turned cold and snowy again, but at least we had a fire going for the old, broken rolling pin.

Trampoline in Feb

We had some warm weather in Feb. (yes, I am getting behind on the blog again...) The kids instantly wanted to play outside. I think the trampoline is one of the best purchases we have made.
The girls were pulling Theodore around. He wasn't as interested in stopping for pictures, but the girls were more than happy to pose for some quick pictures. He sure gets some good lovin' from his sisters. Marie was pulling the wagon and Claire was helping push it all over the yard. They are good buds.
