Toddler Bed Training

We have been working with Marie to sleep in her toddler bed. Admittedly, we weren't very consistent... some nights when we were too tired, we would just throw her in the crib without trying. But this week we had a new determination to make the transition.

Claire has been eating only once each night and on the rare occasion, making it through the night! We want to make sure that Marie has moved to the toddler bed so she can have a new roommate in the near future!

So tonight after putting Marie in the toddler bed, she stayed there and went to sleep after only 4 escapes out of her room! She even fell asleep with her binkie on the floor! Craziness! I am so proud. :) This will be her third time sleeping on the bed, but the other two times she was so tired she didn't even know where she was sleeping!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Marie got a Pez dispenser for Valentine's Day and she loves it! She figured out how to get the candy out and ate a whole pack in two minutes.

Claire just got milk for Valentine's Day, but she also loved it! We put her in an outfit with pink hearts for the day.

This weekend we went to Tehachapi Park which is about 30 minutes away and they had lots of snow! It was so fun to see Marie play in the snow. She hated the snow at first, but then decided that she liked to throw it. She wouldn't walk in it and was ridiculously scared when Teddy took her on a short sledding adventure.

She saw some other kids playing in the snow and decided that she could too...

After making snow balls for awhile, Marie looked at her hands and said, "Owie!" We warmed her up quick in the truck ride back home to the desert.
