Attempts at smiling pictures...

Theodore was actually smiling TOO much that you can hardly tell that he is smiling at all!
Theodore quickly hid his little grin when he knew a picture was going to be taken.

Sweet singing sisters!

For Christmas, we received a karaoke machine. The girls are showing off their mad skills.
Marie loves to sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' and other nursery rhymes.
When Claire stops chewing on the microphone, she sometimes sings along with the alphabet song. They sure love to sing and dance. I think it is funny how they look at the TV while they are singing because they don't know how to read yet!

Feadore

The girls just love their little brother. They both call him Feadore instead of Theodore, but he doesn't seem to mind.
This guy is already showing off his biceps... his Pa must take him to the weight room.We think his shirt is telling the truth.
Theodore is getting bigger and bigger every day. He is the cutest little man around. His Pa can always get him to laugh. I think he likes his deep voice, because every time I do the same thing it startles him. The girls like to try to make him laugh as well. He gets lot of attention!

We finally got some snow!!

So maybe it was only two inches of snow, but we were very excited about it! We purposefully didn't buy a snow shovel because we were tempting the snow to pour on us.
We didn't get quite the snow storm that we were hoping for, but we still managed to have fun with it! Teddy taught the girls how to throw snowballs. Marie looked the wrong way and accidentally got a snowball to the face, so they lost interest in the snowballs rather quickly.
I got Claire's socks, snow boots, coat, hat, and gloves on to go outside. By the time I finished getting Marie's attire on, Claire had managed to take off her socks and snow boots. We finally got them prepared for the cold and sent them out!
What is better than jumping on the trampoline in the summer? Jumping on the trampoline when it is covered in snow!
Instead of throwing snowballs, they discovered that they were good enough to eat!
After they had enough of playing in the snow, we brought them inside to warm their chilly toes by the fire.
Nothing warms you better than drinking some hot chocolate near the fire. The girls loved the snow and are hoping for more so we can build a big snowman.

Bath Time!

Theodore loves splashing in the water. He is a little water baby, so he fits right in with the girls.
This little man is getting so big! We just moved him up to the 3-6 month clothes. I love all the new, cute little outfits.
Theodore has been smiling a lot and has the cutest little laughs, but he is camera shy. The camera has a red light that flashes before the picture is taken and it always startles him! I just can't get a good picture of him smiling! Some day I will have a good one to put on here!

Happy New Year!

For New Year's Eve we stayed home and watched the ball drop online. We wanted to use some different cups for our toasting of sparkling grape juice to bring in the new year... so Teddy put his glass cutting skills to use and made some cups from the sparkling grape juice bottles. As usual, he did a great job!
The ball drop was fun, but we thought the entertainment part of the show was pretty lame. We didn't let that slow us down from making our new year resolutions though. Here are some of them...

~Jessa: run the AF marathon
~Teddy: write in his journal often
~Marie: identify all the letters of the alphabet
~Claire: become potty trained
~Theodore: learn how to walk
Theodore didn't quite make it to midnight to ring in the new year! Happy New Year!

Wrapping up Christmas!

Theodore didn't really appreciate all the presents he got this year, but he did enjoy hanging out beneath the Christmas tree and looking at all the lights. He was trying to wait up for Santa maybe, but he didn't make it very long.
The girls were sad when all the uncles and grandparents left, so we offered them the chocolate from their stockings... nothing is a better comfort food than chocolate!
They must have been highly depressed (or just really like chocolate) because they pounded through the chocolate like champs. Marie has a nice trash pile building!

More people were good this year!

Teddy's brothers were good this year as well. Here they are, sporting some of their new goodies!
Steven got a nice warm shirt and a cool watch for Christmas.
Tyler received a gun (hopefully he will still be considered good next year), and some moccasins.
Scotty got some climbing shoes, and he also got a book to be prepared for any upcoming zombie attacks.
Grandpa got some twist up crayons and also a skunk feeding pan!
Grandma got some new custom made bookshelves!
