Teddy has been experimenting with soldier flies. He accumulated a lot of them and also another unexpected friend! This beetle was huge and the kids loved it! We found 3 in the bin one day!

Sick Christine
Poor Christine hadn't been feeling well. We went to get her out of her nap to find her covered in puke. I think I would have a face like that too if I was covered in puke.
Once she got cleaned up, she was back to playing. She loves to push the buttons with her hands and toes. Marie had a fun time playing with her! Great sisters!

We love doing art projects around here!
We have quite the artists. They sure are learning and growing a ton. We have great kiddos!

Marie's Box
We got a ridiculously over sized box in the mail and the kids were really excited about it. At first, I was walking around the house looking for Marie, but I eventually found her.
Apparently, boxes do make good sleeping places.
Marie's Flat Tire & Bike Ride to Tama Lake
We had to make a little detour on our way to Tama Lake. Marie rode her bike over a nail so we had to find the nearest bike shop.
Claire helped Marie by taking turns running with the broken bike to the store. We eventually got it fixed and were on our way.
We made it to the Tama Lake and it was very pretty! I felt like I was in open America again.
Thad's Birthday (from 2016...)
Yay! Thaddeus turned 3! OK, so he turned 3 almost a year ago... it's going to be his birthday again soon, but it was still a great birthday. He wanted a batman theme! I think the thing he was most excited about was having doughnuts for his birthday. He's been asking for a few months if he can have doughnuts on his birthday.
He got lots of nice cards for his birthday!
He loved his presents! His brother and sisters did, too!

I think this boy had a great 3rd birthday full of super heroes and a few villains! Happy Birthday Thaddeus!
Theo's Haircut
I always love Theo's curls, but he wanted to be a little cooler for the summer. He was excited to get his haircut just like Pa's.
Even without the curls, he is a great looking boy!
