And we're off!

It was very fitting that we came back to the united states on the 4th of July. We saw some fireworks before we left. It was Japan's final send off.
The kids traveled like champs. It is such a long flight, but they did great. On to the next adventure!

Moving back into the TLF

We would see these crazy looking bugs in Japan. On our time in the TLF we walked to the nearby mall. We ate some Mr. Donuts.
We got some last delicious treats from 7eleven. I love Yuzu!
Living in the TLF was challenging. It was tough not having a car anymore either. It was hard to say goodbye. The whole family loved our time in Japan. It was the hardest place to leave. We miss Japan!
The kids watched a lot of Harry Potter in the TLF.
Since we were flying out on the 4th of July, we were on base in time for the festival. It was a great activity and a last parting party.
The Japanese have the greatest figures.
We spent quite a bit of time running around and around this hallway in the TLF. It was so hot outside!

Pa's Work Going Away Party

They gave us this immense bouquet of flowers. They smelled so good and lasted awhile!

Going Away Party with Neighbors

Our neighbors took us out to a great Shabu shabu place. It was so fun and these friends will be highly missed.
Another day we went to Imatsusan's house for the kids' graduation ceremony. She taught them Japanese! She put together a great song and little certificates for them. The kids really enjoyed it and gained some great experiences.
Imatsusan gave us this awesome wooden box. It had so many small pieces of wood that were put together. It is very pretty!
