Crawling Christine

Christine has been our slowest crawler! I think it is because she gets held whenever she wants. She gets lots of loving. She is almost 7 months old here.

Smithsonian Zoo

 Our kids absolutely love the zoo. They want to go every day.

 We got to see some pretty neat things. The weather was crazy hot that day, but they had nice misters set up along the paths for people to walk through.

Fun on the Farm

 Before getting ready to move to Japan, we had to finish up some tasks on the farm. Marie sure loves to hold her sissy.

 Grandma was teaching Claire and Christine how to make flower hair pieces.

 Theodore is sure tough!

 The Glasset family was there, too!

 I'm surprised no one got injured with this many kids on the trampoline. They loved it!

Pa's Manwich

 Pa made this immense hamburger. The bun looks tiny on this thing!

Painting and Climbing

 These boys love to paint with their bingo markers. They work really well! They can make pictures without making a big mess.

 Theo has been climbing lately. He is doing a great job!

 Claire is a beast climber! Look at her on this over hang. She climbed it all by herself!

 Marie likes the long climbs. Her and Claire made it to the top!

Theodore got to use the harness for the first time! Great job kiddos!

 They sure like rock climbing!

Happy Birthday Thaddeus!

 Thaddeus loves construction equipment. This birthday cake was perfect for him!

 Happy birthday Thaddeus! How did you turn 2 so quickly? We had his friend Jacob, whose birthday was a week before, over for another round of cake. Happy birthday my great, easy going Thaddeus. I sure love you!

School

These girls like to play school. They moved the end table to the bean bag and got all that they thought was required for a school setting. I'm not sure what the bottle of baby shampoo filled with water was supposed to be.

Washington D.C. Temple

 For a family home evening activity, we took the kids to the temple. I think we all had a good time at the temple, but not in the traffic on the way home.

 Christine doesn't quite know what to think about her father sometimes.

Girl Haircut Day

 It was haircut day for the girlies! I didn't get a before picture of Claire, but at least I took some after ones. Their hair was long and much too hot for the summer.

 Claire needed a few stragglers trimmed later, but they are some good looking girlies!
