Bike Riding

This has been a summer of bikes! They ride up and down the sidewalk for hours. There haven't been many crashes either!

Fire Escape Ladder

 We decided that it would be a good idea to practice using the window escape ladder. We told the girls to pretend there was a fire on the stairs so we would have to go out the window.

 After a little convincing, they were able to climb down by themselves! Great job girls!

Thaddeus

 

Thaddeus has been getting lots of tummy time. He is growing so fast. I can't believe that he is already two months old!

This is the face that we get after Thaddeus has decided that he is done with tummy time. He is cute even when he is angry.

Claire's Lack of Hair

Claire found the scissors... AGAIN! This girl likes cutting hair way too much. We might just have to keep her hair with bangs. They had just grown out from the last time she cut her hair! Arrrrrgh! Oh well, at least I did a somewhat decent job of cutting her bangs in a straight line.

Splash Pad Summer

This summer has seen many splash pad days already. It has been rather hot and the splash pad is an awesome, free, and super fun way to cool off! Theodore is able to run around the pad this year. Last year, he could only crawl around.

 Unfortunately, Theodore and Claire got ear infections after a solid week of going to the splash park so we had to take a week off, but we are back in full swing again.

 Thaddeus get to nap on the sidelines of the splash pad, but he is prepping for next year's fun in the water. We haven't even had any sun burns so far!

My Lads

 I didn't quite get the peaceful look from Thaddeus that I was hoping for, but they still turned out cute.

Theodore is a fine lookin' boy. He is still crazy about Thaddeus. Theodore is finally starting to talk a little bit, so that is encouraging. I have two great lads!

Marie and Claire after church

 These girls are hugging for the camera.  I love that they get along so well (most of the time) together.

 Claire is really starting to grow up. She is losing her baby girl look. She is such a big helper and learns tons every day.

 Marie is getting bigger too quickly. I had to get out her next size of shoes and I feel like I had just done that a couple weeks ago. I can't believe that she will be 5 in a month!
